Ethiopian Unity and Justice Movement (EUJM)
The Ethiopian Unity and Justice Movement (EUJM) is a political entity organized to coordinate and support the struggle of the Ethiopian people against national disintegration, injustice , inequality, and domination and oppression by an ethnic minority regime.
EUJM firmly believes that national unity, sovereignty and equality of all ethnic groups, the political and civic liberties of citizens, and brotherhood among Ethiopians, democracy, economic and social justice are the basic preconditions for stability, sustainable peace and development in the country.
1. Vision
To ensure that Ethiopia’s national unity and sovereignity are protected; the rule of law reigns supreme; social and economic justice prevail, and all Ethiopians live with dignity, equality, basic rights and liberty.
2. Mission
To support and contribute its share in struggle of the Ethiopian people for unity, justice, equality, and freedom from the reigning ethnocentric dictatorship of the TPLF/ERPDF.
3. Fundamental Objectives
3.1. To support the Ethiopian people to further strengthen national unity and the spirit of cooperation in their struggle for their fundamental rights and freedom; and against the current unjust ethnocentric and oppressive political order.
3.2. To persistently work for the smooth and peaceful transition of state power in the country on the basis of tolerance, mutual understanding, and national reconciliation among all stakeholders.
3.3. To ensure that all power emanates from the people and that a democratic political order is established through free and fair election.
3.4. To work in a determined way to foster the spirit of brotherhood, understanding, cooperation and unity among Ethiopians and all stakeholders, political and otherwise, so that Ethiopian multi-ethnic identity is further strengthened on the basis of equality, justice and freedom for all citizens.
3.5. To struggle against all sorts of terrorism, extremism and fundamentalism so that Ethiopia becomes the beacon of peace, stability, good governance, and sustainable development in the region.
4. Strategy/Method of struggle
To effectively realize its objectives, EUJM, shall develop, implement, and evaluate specific plans of action and strategies on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the prevailing domestic, regional and international conditions.
